OZ Sells Cambodian Assets to Renaissance

February 20, 2012 (Vietnamica) — Oz Minerals says it will sell its Cambodian gold assets to Rick Hart-chaired explorer Renaissance Minerals for US$17.8 million in cash, shares and options. Another $22.5 million will be paid if certain milestones are achieved, including if Renaissance Minerals decides to mine and when a producing goldmine is established.

Cambodia-Vietnam Trade Relations in 2011

January 31, 2012 (Vietnamica) — The Vietnamese Embassy’s Trade Promotion Office reported that bilateral trade between grew 54.75 percent to US$2.829 billion in 2011, compared to US$1.828 billion in 2010 (Phnompenh Post, Jan 31). Cambodian exports to Vietnam rose to US$429 million in 2011, compared to US$227 million in 2010. Imports from Vietnam increased 54.63 percent to US$2.4 billion from US$1.552 billion.
