Vinamilk’s Dairy Plant in New Zealand Starts Operation

August 25, 2011 (Vietnamica.net) — Viet Nam Dairy Products Joint-Stock Company (Vinamilk, HSX: HOSE) announces that its New Zealand-based  Miraka milk powder plant has begun operating in a co-operation with local Miraka Limited Company. This is the first overseas investment of Vinamilk. Vinamilk holds 19.3% of NZD 90 million joint-venture. The plant, which specializes in producing high quality full cream milk powder, is able to produce 32,000 tons of milk powder (8 tons per hour capacity) and 210 million litres of milk each year.
