Vietnam: Vegetable Oil IndustryJanuary 19, 2012 (Vietnamica) — The Ministry of Industry and Trade unveils that vegetable oil exports from Vietnam have increased 50% in volume and 51% in value in 2011 (Agribiz, Jan. 10). Vietnam exports vegetable oils mainly to Cambodia, China and Australia. The achievement exceeds previous expectation as the industry has faced numerous challenges such as fluctuating prices of input materials and difficulties forecasting production trends.
