Vietnam: Urea Prices Surged; Supply Reportedly Sufficient

May 16, 2012 (Vietnamica) —Vietnam Agriculture Magazine (May 14) reported that urea prices kept going up. In the last 2 weeks, Phu My urea fertilizer was up from US$0.537 per kilogram to USD0.584. Meanwhile, the Fertilizer Association of Vietnam affirmed that there is no shortage of supply as compared with the current demand for agricultural production.
